Partition #7 (Femme Blueprint)

Four weaves based on narratives of womxn and inspired by stories that are dictated by the many hidden ‘structural blueprints’ that our societies are built on.

This work was produced in collaboration with the professional Textile Lab at the Textielmuseum in Tilburg.

Materials: Linnen, Merinowol, Acryl, Elirex and recycled PET bottles. 2020

Size: 170 x 260 cm per textile piece (4 in total).

Further thank you to Kiyoshi Tatsumi, director at Amuse museum (that previously were located in Tokyo, Japan), for letting me research Chuzaburo Tanaka vast collection of Boro textiles.
